Jason Adkins is an American contemporary artist working across painting, sculpture, and design. His practice is driven by scale, surface, material, atmosphere, and light, moving between expansive abstract compositions, landscape-based works, monochromatic studies, and sculptural objects.
Adkins approaches each work as a physical presence rather than a decorative image. Gesture, texture, proportion, reflectivity, and spatial tension are developed in direct relationship to the architecture and atmosphere around the work.
Original works are created individually in the studio. Selected works are available for acquisition, and commissions are accepted for select compositions and exact dimensions. Each original is signed by the artist and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
