Artwork Purchases & Commissions

All artworks offered through this website are original works by Jason Adkins unless otherwise expressly stated.

Original Artwork. Completed original artworks are unique, one-of-a-kind works. Availability is subject to prior sale. All purchases of original artwork are final, subject only to the limited exceptions described in our Return and Refund Policy.

Commissioned Artwork. Commissioned works are created only after an order has been placed and payment has been received. Production does not begin prior to purchase. Completion times vary according to the size, complexity, materials, studio schedule, drying or curing requirements, and other factors associated with the creation of an original artwork.

Estimated completion dates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed delivery dates.

Progress photographs may be provided during the creation of a commissioned work so that the collector may follow its development. These photographs are informational and do not establish an unlimited revision or approval process. Unless specific customization requirements have been agreed to in writing before production begins, artistic decisions remain at the discretion of Jason Adkins.

Each commissioned artwork is individually created and is therefore subject to natural variations in gesture, surface, color, texture, composition, and detail. A commission inspired by an existing Jason Adkins artwork is a new original work and not an exact reproduction.

Once production of a commissioned artwork has begun, the commission is non-cancellable, non-returnable, and non-refundable.

Shipping & Crating. Complimentary shipping and professional crating, when required, are included for deliveries within the 48 contiguous United States and Washington, D.C. Additional charges apply to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, and international destinations in accordance with our Shipping & Delivery Policy.

Delivery Address. Orders will be shipped to the delivery address provided with the order. The purchaser is responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery information and for notifying Jason Adkins Studio of any necessary correction before shipment is arranged.

Authenticity. Original artworks are signed by the artist and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.

Copyright. Purchase of an artwork transfers ownership of the physical artwork only. Copyright, reproduction rights, image rights, and all other intellectual property rights remain with Jason Adkins unless expressly transferred in a separate written agreement.
